Where do you fit in?

To be fair this website has so many things to do it's a bit like being let loose in the Tuck Shop to choose whatever you want for free in just 5 min - oh what to pick first....!.

Kingham Hill is nearly 125 years old, as such it has a very rich history however much of this early history has been lost and is even now vanishing as you read this. When we leave this world we will take with us our personal experience of life on and after The Hill with us, it will be lost forever. We want to hear from you - from just a few lines to an epic tale - about your time on The Hill or your time after you left. If you have pictures even better. With your words saved electorically and available to those who come after you - your story will never be lost and may even inspire others.

Want to do more?

Critically it is important to understand you are not going to be thrown to the lions if you step forward and volunteer!! The KHSD team support each other by working together, by sharing the work out the 'job' is easier and our website content is richer for it.

  • We would be very happy to hear from you if you feel you could contribute to the website (specifically or generally) or help its users in any way at all - "I can help if you want me to" is enough!!
  • You don't need to be a computer expert - can you use a word processor and have Internet access? Then that's all you need. Simon provides specific 1:1 training to those who take on a specific roles.
  • For example we currently are looking for people who could represent / be a contact point for people from specific decades or someone who would be a contact for women who were at The Hill.
