Profile
I was at Kingham-Hill on a bursry paid by a local council and the Kingham-Hill Trust. I was always in the lower forms but took the form prize on several speech-days. One prize was presented by Lord Halsham
I was at Kingham four years but it taught me a lot about being determined to succeed in whatever I did in my career. I took an apprenticeship in Agricultural Machanics/Engineering ans specialised in Massey Ferguson equipment and advanced hydraulics.
Then a complete change I decided to work more with people Why because my charactor strenghs were being involved and helping others. Hence 3yrs working with severely disabled and then the Prison Service for 31yrs. Kingham gave me the tools to care whilst making vital decisions. If you can find what you enjoy doing then work hard to achieve and you will do it
Special Project or Interesting Work
My work with SCOPE in helping severely handicapped young and adults to strive to overcome their frustrations and try to better their own abilities was a real learning curve for me They taught me so much about the value of life. I did loads of interesting projects I mentioned in my book 'FROM RAGS TO RICHES AND BUNGLES'.
I also enjoyed my adventures with Prisoners.
Get in touch to find out more I will help where I can Good luck with your decisions in life.
