I recall Greenwich house allways being frowned upon for one reason or another. But no mention in the photo archives or indeed a section on the forums.
Any reason.

Ah - major oversight. Thanks for pointing it out! Going to rectify this now. |

Thank you Simon. Just hope that it is not a sign that old Greenichians (??) are not visiting the site. |

Dear Bazj.
Regarding photos of Greenwich on Photo Archive section etc.I've spent almost a year trawling through the 100's ( maybe 1000's) of pictures in our Archives, sadly I don't think I have found one of Greenwich House with a name, year or date on! Please rest assured as soon as I do get some they will be scanned and Simon will put them on.
To date I have 'supplied' some 300 of the scanned photos on schooldays. Several problems have emerged, boxes of photos with no identification at all and yes I'm trying to sort them. Secondly, the 80's and 90's were 'a bit of a shambles' regarding House records, photos etc on the Hill. So,if anyone has Greenwich House pictures, with dates, please can we borrow them or send me a copy and we will see what we can do to get them on.
Regards Mike Kent. |

This would be a great moment to point out that everyone can upload images to the photo archive by clicking the "user panel" link in the gallery and selecting the folder you want to add the image to.
Probably a good idea to ensure your images are 1mb - 2mb at the most otherwise it might take all day!
Fairly simple to add details about the picture by editing the description once you have uploaded an image or maybe add a comment to it.
If you are stuck or would rather I do it then please get in touch, post a question here or simply email me the image. |

I've tried to upload some photos onto this site, but the security on my computer is really tight and won't let me!!, so I've uploaded them onto the Old Boys Kingham Hill Facebook Page and also uploaded them from my Facebook profile and tagged the appropriate people I've got on Facebook Friends list instead and it works well!!
