There are many reasons for making a Connection with someone.

• It enables the Chat feature between you and any person you are connected to
• You can find people more quickly when sending a message
• You are able to keep up to date with your list of connections quickly
• It allows you to manage your Connections, add information (comments) and put them in a group

It is very likely other features will be added to enhance the connection facility in the future.

To make a connection with someone.

1. Log on to the website and click "Search and Members" from the Registered User Menu on the left.
2. Find the person you want to make a connection with by either
   1. Looking through the pages (the list is in alphabetical order by surname or by
   2. clicking SEARCH USERS (top right). If you click SEARCH USERS simply enter any information - just the last name for example and click FIND USERS.
3. When you find the person you wish to make a connection with click the person's name.
4. At the top of their profile page place your mouse on "Connections" and then click "Request Connection".
5. Enter any personal message and click "Submit"

The person will receive your connection request by email and you will be advised when they accept your invitation.
